Coat Dress

"The best and the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." - Helen Keller

I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas. Quick outfit post.  My outfit yesterday was pretty simple and festive. I wore a beautiful green spring coat as a dress because I always over eat at Christmas dinner. Paired this beauty with black tights and gorgeous maroon suede heels. Green and red-ish totally Christmas colors. Also added a pair of beautiful statement necklace and some rings to complete my ensemble. Enjoy.

Turtleneck Weather

"Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home." - Edith Sitwell

Here in NYC, the weather is so crisp and chilly. Perfect time to wear turtlenecks to keep warm. I have on a chunky turtleneck in black. Paired it with a tiny little navy skirt, black tights and classic black pumps. I am carrying a small blue cross body bag to complete the look. Please excuse my messy hair and stay warm.

Royal Blue

"Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength." - Corrie Ten Boom

I attended a baby shower a couple of days ago. The color code for the baby shower was Royal Blue. Hunting a royal blue dress was tiresome. I finally found royal blue clothes but as two different pieces - a crop top and a midi pencil skirt. I decided to wear the skirt a little higher so that it looks like I am wearing a dress - a Royal Blue dress. Paired these two pieces with my ox-blood heels and to keep myself warm I added a coat. Before I forget, my baby girl Porshia finally makes her appearances.

Where is Porshia?

"Simplicity is the most difficult thing to secure in the world; it is the last limit of experience and the last effort of genius." - George Sand

Some of you guys might be wondering why Porshia isn't on my posts anymore? Well, my baby girl is having problems with her joints. She is recovering and doing rather well day by day. I don't let her come with me in the backyard while I am taking pictures because she starts chasing squirrels and I don't want her to put too much pressure on her legs. Hopefully, in the next post she will make her usual appearances. Fingers crossed. Now, back to the outfit post. I have on a cozy, slightly baggy sweater and skinny jeans. Since my outfit is very simple I decided to wear heels, add necklace and red lipstick to brighten the look. Enjoy!
